"Mandala" is an ancient Sanskrit word which means "center, or circumference, or magic circle." To create a mandala is simply to create a drawing or design inside a circle. BUT this ancient art form has potential for a much deeper level of creativity as a path for self-revelation or wholeness. "To create a mandala is to experience prayer through art... this can be healing and often transformative," write Judith Cornell. You do not have to be an artist to create a mandala. Just bring a love for the creative life that is in you. All art supplies will be provided.
