ARTCAMP 2024
Monday, July 15th – Friday, July 19th
We will be reaching out to potential Teachers in February. Volunteers always wanted! Sign-up to be a volunteer to help with set-up and sign-in. Email us at Volunteers@PrairieArtsCouncil.org.

Art in the Alley 2024
Summer is upon us! This year, Prairie Arts Council would like to host a relaxing one day event celebrating the beauty and diversity of our downtown! This event is expected to be hosted at Filson Park in Rensselaer! (This may change due to construction downtown)
Previous year Attractions included: A guided REN ART WLK Mural Tour. Art Battle! Mural artists compete to win prizes and wow our senses. Games! Prizes! Crafts! Tie-Dye! Live Local Music, all day! Art Fair & Market featuring local artists & artisans. Local Food Trucks.
Rock the Arts 2024
Time to Rock the Arts with Carpenter Creek Cellars of Remington, Indiana. Held at the winery on 11144 Jordan Road. Adults are invited to enjoy an afternoon of local wine, food, and live music at Carpenter Creek Cellars from 1:00-7:00pm CST.
Holiday Show & Sale 2024
The holiday season is almost here. Join the Prairie Arts Council and Rensselaer’s Holiday Stroll to “Shop Local” and purchase original fine arts, fine crafts, and artisan foods created by local artisans.

The School Shows offer teachers and our community the ability to showcase student artists from schools in the Newton and Jasper County region. Middle school artists also receive a ribbon, with one artist from each school being selected for the Best of School Award. Art in the Park
Art at Tippecanoe River State Park
Since 2016, Prairie Arts Council has collaborated with the members of Jasper County Art League to offer a unique weekend of free art workshops to the public. Funded in part by the Indiana Arts Commission, a group of artist volunteers coordinates and teaches a range of art experiences for people of all ages.

ROCK THE ARTS at Carpenter Creek Cellars
The Prairie Arts Council Presents, ROCK THE ARTS 2021 with Carpenter Creek Cellars of Remington, Indiana. Carpenter Creek Cellars will co-host this fundraising event this year, held at the winery on 11144 Jordan Road. Adults are invited to enjoy music, wine, and food from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. Art in The Park
The Prairie Arts Council will hold its Art in the Park 2020 event at the Tippecanoe River State Park in Winamac on Sept. 11-13. There are several free activities to enjoy and they will take place in or around the River Shelter and the park’s nature center near the entrance. Fri. 3-5pm CDT. Sat. 9am-3pm CDT. Sun. 10am-12pm CDT. Activities will be outside and social distancing will be practiced. Masks are required.
ROCK THE ARTS!
ROCK THE ARTS is the Prairie Arts Council's summer festival that incorporates many of our favorite things: interactive art, music, and a beer garden! This family friendly one day festival is set in Rensselaer's Potawatomi Park and has a little bit of something for everyone! Due to Covid19 the 2020 event is cancelled.
REN ART WLK
The REN ART WLK is all about creating and enhancing the quality of life for Rensselaer through public art and beautification. Enhancing the quality of life is also about meeting others with shared creative interests and being part of something bigger than any individual. Now you can be more active with the community with TEAM ART WLK. Just like the ART WLK, ANYBODY and EVERYBODY can involved. Being involved is easy and free. We just want you to be part of the greater whole!
