General Information

Sunday, September 25 | 10 am – 4 pm | Tapawingo park in West Lafayette.
The 15th Art on the Wabash art fair will be held Sunday, September 25, from 10 am to 4 pm at Tapawingo park in West Lafayette.

The fair is presented by the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette and the City of West Lafayette. Admission is free to the public and the fair will be held rain or shine.

Eligible artists must be 18 or over, residing in the following counties:  Benton, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Pulaski, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Warren, and White or have participated in Art on the Wabash before and moved away.

ALL artwork/artists will be juried this year.

Applications open: March 15
Application deadline: May 1
Notification of jury results: May 25
Exhibit of accepted artists’ work at AMGL: June 18 – September 17
Fair: September 25

Media
Work may be of any media but will be juried for quality.

All work must be original and made by the artist and be for sale.  Only work that is juried in may be displayed. Reproductions, such as prints, may be offered in bins.  No kits, please. Artists may apply to show more than one medium, but must be juried in for each and pay the application fee for each.

How to enter
Submit the application form on this website, one for each medium, and pay the $15 fee per medium on Paypal.
Include 5 images of your artwork (for each medium) and we recommend including a booth photo.

Please give a brief artist’s statement describing your artwork for the printed program
Applications will be accepted from March 15 – May 1. Artists will be notified of juror decisions by May 25.
Artists will be invited to participate in a display of their work at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette from June 18 – September 17.

Booth Information
Booth size is 10’ x 10’ and the fee is $25 to be paid on acceptance. A limited number of tents are available for $50 each to rent.
Once accepted, you may let us know of any physical limitations or if you would like to display next to a specific artist. We will make every effort to honor requests if possible.

Jury Information

Art on the Wabash is juried each year by a professional member of the art community outside the 14-county area.  Criteria include originality and quality.  Only work selected by the juror will be accepted to the fair. Artists shall understand that artwork images submitted for jurying may be used for marketing purposes.

Award
A People’s Choice Award will be given towards the end of the afternoon based on attendees voting for their favorite artist on ballots included in the programs.
